The luxury canvas tents we create today owe their longevity to the rugged, reliable shelters we first developed as Canvas and Tent back in 1970.
Designed for military and humanitarian use in the harshest of conditions, durability was non-negotiable then – and that tradition of engineering for extreme environments continues to this day. It’s what makes our structures among the most reliable on the planet.
As the hospitality industry grew, lodge operators, camp managers, architects and others began to recognise the value our tents added to their operations. They required less maintenance and fewer repairs and replacements, which meant greater returns on investment.
And so began an exciting new chapter for Bushtec. Thanks to our expertise, precision manufacturing and engineering excellence, we were able to help hospitality brands create luxury tented accommodation in even the remotest of places. And we haven’t stopped since.
